I have lived in the Park at Merryfield for 30 years, raised 2 kids that are now married and on their own. I was on the City of Wilsonville’s Development Review Board for 6 years (Chairman for 2 years), 25 years on the HOA board—mainly as president, 35 years in customer service in the financial services industry, 20 years’ experience in business management. I have seen the City grow and have helped when possible with Work Days and other events. I believe that if we treat each other as neighbors, we can make it better for everyone.
Thank you for all your past support.

Community Hello,
I am very excited to continue to serve on the HOA of the Park at Merryfield.
When we first moved here in November of 2012 there were family Easter egg hunts, parades for the 4th celebrating our great country and a place where you knew your neighbor and felt safe. I would like to bring these traditions back. I feel now more than ever with all the new families moving in, we need to have young ideas on the docket. In the 11 years I have lived here in the I feel we have lost that sense of family community.
A vote for me is a vote for all of you out there that have young families. We need a voice for all of us with young families and I am here to be that voice for you.
I live on Camelot St. with my wife and 2 kids. I am dedicated to helping our community and keeping Park at Merryfield a beautiful place.
I want to be your partner in keeping this community to be the best it can be.
Sincerely,
Bill Jankovich

My husband and I moved to the Park at Merryfield five years ago to be closer to my daughter, son-in-law and two special grandsons. We immediately took an interest in our neighborhood by volunteering to help with the replacement of the mailboxes. Upon completion of that project, I decided to join the Board.
I have been the secretary for four years, volunteered to be on the Landscape Committee after the ice storm and am on the Architecture Committee. We just lost our Treasurer of twelve years to a move, and I stepped in to help our newest Board member, who graciously took over the job.
My business experience began in the dental field as owner and manager of a specialty dental practice. Later I moved to financial services as an independent insurance agent and registered representative. I was also in Rotary for ten great years and served on their Board.
This is a great neighborhood, and I am willing to continue to work hard to keep it that way.
Thank you!

I have served the HOA in the past as a board member, treasurer and served as its President.
I have reached the stage in my business career, where I have time to become more actively engaged in the continued improvement and promotion of our impressive neighborhood.
I have an extensive business background at a senior level and have guided the financial and business development/ growth aspects of several large corporations.
Over the course of my business career and volunteer pursuits, I have worked hard to be an engaged listener, accepting diverse positions and provide pragmatic/ fact-based input into the discourse to achieve the needed goals and objectives.
My wife Nancy and I have lived in the Park at Merryfield since 1997. Specifically, we live on Merlin Court and many of you know our property as it backs up to the actual “Park at Merryfield” along the Arrowhead trail and it is where Nancy has planted all the Daffodils for the community to enjoy over the past 10+ years.
Nancy and I, in cooperation with the Wilsonville Parks and Recreation department, have served as park volunteers and have stewarded and maintained that portion of the park for +26 years now. Our goal has always been to improve the access and aesthetic of our common green space and park for all to enjoy.
Nancy and I also volunteer at a local homeless outreach in Wilsonville called Transitional Youth.
The Park at Merryfield may be a neighborhood comprised of 150 homes, but the families and individuals that reside in those homes provide its unique character and contribute to the strong sense of community we all want to be a part of.
I appreciate your consideration and support.
Best regards
Bob

Next year I’ll be a 30-year resident of the Park of Merryfield.
My career experience includes Education, Environmental Resources, and Finance.
The community has elected me to serve on the HOA Board many times, starting with the mission to stop the prison location on the property which is now Villebois My HOA service has included positions as the President, Secretary, and Board member. I have been very grateful for the opportunity to promote a lovely and safe Park at Merryfield.
I now have the time and desire to contribute to the HOA with an emphasis on making the best decisions for our residents.
Let’s make the Park at Merryfield community the best place to live in Wilsonville by working together to make this happen by promoting:
Knowing your neighbors
Being a helpful neighbor
And working together for success
I would appreciate your vote for me!

For those of you who don’t know me I have lived in my house in The Park at Merryfield since 1997. During that time I served on our HOA board, the Wilsonville Parks Board, Development Review Board, as treasurer and secretary on the board for Community Sharing and our Food Bank, and was elected to serve on our Wilsonville City Council. In addition, I ran my daughter’s Girl Scout troop and high school sailing team during her tenure in those activities. I still volunteer for AFS student exchange. I have a business background and an engineering degree and was the owner of Northwest Automation and Control; a wholesale distributor of electrical control and automation until I sold it to a competitor and retired. In short, I have experience, work well with others, and know how to get things done. Most importantly I want to bring a sense of community back to our neighborhood here in the Park at Merryfield and make sure it is a great place to live for everyone.
When there are issues, rather than forwarding impersonal letters or emails, my goal will be to speak to those involved face-to-face and try to find win-win solutions. This is how we build a great neighborhood and avoid misunderstanding.
If elected I promise to work hard and strive to make the Park at Merryfield an even better place to live!
Please feel free to call me if you have any questions or concerns. Michelle Ripple 971-373-5094

Almost immediately after moving into the Park at Merryfield in 2009, I began serving on the Board of Directors. I had prior experience serving with our previous HOA in Colorado and wanted to continue that service in our new neighborhood.
I am looking to return to the Board after a few years away. I would bring deep knowledge of the rules and regulations that govern the operation of the HOA. When on the Board in 2104, I drafted the Amendments to our Declaration and Bylaws that updated them to reflect current legal requirements, remove provisions designed solely to protect the original developer, and implement some changes requested by Homeowners.
The immediate benefit of my return to the Board would be to eliminate – or at least reduce – the thousands of dollars being spent on legal fees. Following the rules and procedures required in both our governing documents and Oregon Statutes governing HOAs is critical to reduce potential expenses from challenges to HOA actions and decisions.
When the Board invited Homeowners to a meeting last April to discuss the need to increase dues, there was no budget forecast prepared. I had created a five-year forecast to compare to their projections, but it turned out to be the only forecast available for discussion at the meeting. My forecast was later published by the HOA and distributed to Homeowners. I would bring the ability to help improve budget/expense forecasting and be able to clearly present it to Homeowners.
I hope to be able to serve the Homeowners to help keep the Park at Merryfield a fantastic place to reside.
Thank You!
