If you have an Oregon white oak tree you suspect may be impacted or infested with the Mediterranean Oak Borer then you should report the tree to the Invasive Species Hotline: https://oregoninvasiveshotline.org/ . Once a tree is reported the State will send an expert to look at the tree and confirm whether the pest is present.
Resources for MOB are on the City website here: https://www.ci.wilsonville.or.us/natural/page/mediterranean-oak-borer
Updates regarding MOB and the City’s Oregon white oak trees will be on the December 18th City Council agenda. The goal is to have more clarity on what support we can provide our residents at that time.
